I was born in Kolozsvár (Cluj-Napoca), Romania. I was 7 years old when I started to play the violin. At that time I practiced classical music, and so I did for eight years. The love for village folk music came much later in my life, when I was about 15 or 16 years old, and this passion stock with me ever since.
