One of the most significant Hungarian folk dance camps in the North American has been the Montreal Winter Workshop, organized by the Bokréta Hungarian Folkdance Ensemble for over 15 years. In the coldest month of the year, the most determined dancers of the continent gather here for a three-day intensive dance and music training. This year, Norbert Kovács Cimbi and Hortenzia Lőrinc teach Gypsy dances from Szászcsávás. Several folk dance groups will be attending the event from their own rehearsal room. In addition to dancing, Kodoba Florin holds an online violin lesson from his home for North American fiddle players.
