Hungarian Festival of Wallingford

-

The Hungarian Festival of Wallingford, Connecticut, was established with the goal of presenting Hungarian culture and hospitality to the community of Wallingford through Hungarian music, dances, crafts, and cuisine.

The first Hungarian Festival in Wallingford was held on November 7, 2014. Since then, it’s been a highly successful annual event. Due to the pandemic, the 2020 Festival had to be cancelled, but in 2021, the people of Wallingford could once again gather to enjoy the wonderful world of Hungarian Culture.

On September 19, 2021, visitors of the Festival had the chance to enjoy a day full of Hungarian folk music, traditional dances, taste various delicious Hungarian dishes, and have a shot of the infamous Hungarian alcoholic drink, ‘pálinka’.
