The Western Canadian Hungarian Folk Festival Society (WCHFFS) has once again organized a series of dance workshops, which will be held in October. These workshops serve as a great tool to promote Hungarian culture and help participants explore the world of Hungarian folklore.
The Western Canadian Hungarian Folk Festival in 2021 will take place online, due to the pandemic. However, this means that people from all over the globe interested in learning about Hungarian folk dances will have an easier time joining in.
This year’s event will focus on various regions of the Carpathian basin, presenting dances from places, such as ‘Szásznagyvesszős’, ‘Hajdúság’, ‘Délalföld’, or ‘Őrség’.
