-

The Hungarian Festival of Arizona, otherwise known as HunFest, will once again open its gates this year. The event will take place on March 5, at the Gendale Community College.

The festival will feature a variety of programs, from Hungarian music and dance to authentic food and drinks. Visitors will be entertained by performers such as the Szilvafa Hungarian Folk Dance Ensemble from New Jersey, the Belvárosi Betyárok from Hungary, or the Turul Drummers from California.

There will be be palacsinta (Hungarian crepes), lángos (fried bread), kürtőskalács (chimney cake), kolbász (sausage), töltött káposzta (stuffed cabbage), gulyás (goulash), csirkepaprikás (chicken paprikash), just to name a few of the amazing examples of Hungarian food.
